  • As a staff we have begun phasing the back squat
2 days ago by ath_warehouse As a staff, we have begun phasing the back squat out of most of our programs in favor of the front squat. The most common fault we see when youth athletes begin a back squat is over extension through the lumbar spine without having the extension capacity or development to handle these positions. Most commonly we find athletes reporting lumbar joint discomfort. The front squat position in results in a lesser load on the body with similar muscular activation.  #strengthandconditioning

  • I chose to workout at Athletes Warehouse because it is
7 days ago by ath_warehouse I chose to workout at Athletes Warehouse because it is really the best place to go to, in terms of actual physical training along with the mental training. The coaches there really care alot about each athlete and make the effort to connect with them. All of them always teach us, the athletes, more than lifting technique. It goes a lot past that. - Brian Reda  #WhyI   #spotlightsunday
