How do I get started with VeloU?

All athletes interested in joining into our VeloU program must complete an evaluation prior to signing up. Please navigate to the VeloU booking page to schedule your evaluation. Already completed your eval? Please check your email address for instructions on how to sign up for the program. Haven't received an email? Please reach out to team@velouniversity.com to get started!

What happens during an evaluation and why do I need one?

All athletes interested in joining into our VeloU or Alpha programs must complete an evaluation prior to signing up. The reason we require an evaluation is simple, this process helps us to ensure that athletes are receiving the most up to date programming and training practices we have to offer. The evaluation consists of a detailed movement screening followed by detailed conversation about the best direction to take you/your athletes development moving forward. What is the VeloU Hybrid membership and how will it benefit me?

Our VeloU Hybrid membership is an offer best suited for athletes who are traveling from 40+ minutes away, or have a schedule that will not allow them to frequent the facility more than twice a week. A traditional gym setup is required to be able to utilize the full benefits of our Hybrid program.The Hybrid pricing model includes 6 days a week of custom programming for both throwing and lifting, as well as access to training within the facility twice a week, preferably Mon, Wed, Fri or Sat. All of our memberships run on a subscription basis, with the Hybrid tuition being $458 every 28 days.

How do I pay for VeloU?

VeloU and all other Athletes Warehouse sub brands run their point of sales via an online checkout software. We do not handle payment in-house, and do not accept cash or check. If you require special circumstances please reach out to team@velouniversity.com with your full name and a VeloU team member will assist you as soon as possible.

How do I change or cancel my membership with VeloU?

Interested in changing or canceling your VeloU subscription. Please reach out to team@velouniversity.com with your full name and email address you used to sign up, and a VeloU team member will assist you in updating your subscription.

Does VeloU provide 1-on-1 pitching lessons?

The VeloU program does not provide 1-on-1 pitching instruction, everything we do from a throwing development perspective is done in a group setting. If you are unsure as to how you will benefit from this style of training, please schedule your evaluation so that way we can properly inform you on how the program operates and how you can see true benefits from our style of training!

Does Athletes Warehouse offer skill specific training for sports?

At this point in time, Athletes Warehouse is only able to offer sport specific skills training for throwing and pitching development, softball, and track and field athletes (specifically sprinting/short distance running).
